Cookie Policy

Last updated: 8 June 2026.  Our approach to cookies follows the same principle as our approach to design — use only what is necessary, and never more than that.

What Cookies Are

Cookies are small files that websites store in your browser. They serve a range of purposes — some are indispensable to how a website works, others are entirely optional. We use the term loosely to include browser local storage and session storage, which work similarly.

This policy tells you which categories we use, whether they are optional or required, and how to manage your preferences.

The Cookies We Use

Essential

Always active

These exist because the website cannot function without them. They support security, consent storage, and the stable delivery of pages. They collect no personal information and cannot be disabled.

Analytics

Optional

Used only with your permission. We use Vercel Analytics — a privacy-respecting analytics service — to understand which pages visitors read, how long they stay, and where they come from. This helps us improve the website. No personal profiles are built and no advertising networks are involved.

Advertising

Not used

We do not place marketing, retargeting, or third-party advertising cookies on this website. We have no interest in following you around the internet.

Vercel Analytics

Vercel Analytics is the only analytics tool we use, and only when you have chosen to accept it. It measures anonymous, aggregate signals — page views, visit durations, navigation paths — without building a personal profile or fingerprinting your device. Unlike most analytics tools, it does not set long-lived tracking identifiers or share data with advertising networks.

We use this data solely to understand how the website performs, where content could be clearer, and which pages serve visitors well. Nothing more.

Managing Your Preferences

You can change your analytics preference at any time using the Cookie Settings link in the footer. Clicking it reopens the consent banner, where you can accept or withdraw your choice. You can also clear this site's storage entirely in your browser's privacy settings, which resets all preferences.

Essential cookies cannot be disabled through our banner because they support the basic operation of the site and the storage of your consent preference itself. Disabling them requires manually clearing your browser storage.

Changes

If we add new tools, change analytics providers, or adjust how we use cookies, we will update this page and revise the date above. Material changes will be accompanied by a refreshed consent notice so you can review and update your preferences.

For full details on how we handle personal data, read our Privacy Policy.
